“I see a focus on a particular kind of stay here, given its adults-only policy. The bar seems to be a real draw, hinting at an enjoyable social scene, while the proximity to the train station is a boon for travelers. Though some may find the rooms compact, the location and price point make it worth considering for a quick trip.”

The Elephant And Castle offers newly decorated and spacious rooms, equipped with comfortable beds featuring white cotton sheets and quilt covers. Its central Wakefield location is advantageous, being just minutes from the train station and near a large retail park with diverse food options. excellent room!

large roomcomfy bedexcellent facilities
The room was quite large, and the bed was very comfy. I slept well. facilities were excellent with lovely bathrooms and showers. i even tried to book another night, but it was already full, showing how popular it is.
i found a slight negative fact, there were 3 lots of security codes to gain access to my room after the pub closed, one of which was a builders security fence with a 4 digit turn type padlock into a dark courtyard.

Mixed Experience. Security Issues Noted

comfortable bedsecurity codesdark courtyard
The bed was comfortable with a white cotton sheet and quilt cover.
I disliked the multiple security codes required to access the room after 10.30pm. Guests must navigate a side metal fence with a code, then walk through a dark courtyard. Another code is needed to enter the building, and a final code to enter the room itself. This security arrangement seemed like too much of a hassle.
